Urmomistan Official Site For The Great Proud Nation
Urmomistan was originally a province of the USSR during the Cold War.
After the end of the war they gained their independance in 1991.
Since their independance the nation has isolated itself and has had tight closed borders.
Becuase of this, not much is known about this mysterious nation.

Government:
Urmomistan has a monarchial government ruled by a "Jurd".
The Urmomistani Jurd rules Urmomistan until they die.
When a Jurd dies any Urmomistani citizen is allowed to voulenteer as a canidate to be the new Jurd.
Unless there is only one voulenter, all those that desire to become the new ruler of Urmomistan must prove themselves worthy by having the greatest tolerance to LSD.
All canidates are brought together and take LSD until they either decease or are the last one standing.
The final survivor will gain the position of Jurd for the remainder of his or her life.
Authorty, Culture & Life:
The Urmomistani are a proud people and are extrememly loyal to their country.
Due to their resentment of the USSR they have very anti-Russian sentiments.
Urmomistan is often wrongly refered to as a Russian territory by the rest of the world, however confusing Urmomistani people with the Russian people is taken as a great offence in Urmomistan.
They also consider Northern Ireland as a serperate country.
It is not fully known why this is the case, but it's speculated that it may have to do with them seeing Northern Ireland's independance as similar to their independance from Russia.
Due to the nationalistic nature of the country, free speech is nonexistent and any talk against the great nation is leagally punishable.
Despite the outward pride of the country and the touting of its greatness, Urmomistan citizens live in mostly impoverished conditions.
The people are heavily taxed and are encouraged to give their entire self to the great nation of Urmomistan.
Among most of the Urmomistani there is heavy drug use by both the citizens as well as government officials and authority figures.
While it is unknown exactly how Urmomistan obtains its reaources, it is speculated that there is secret trading amongst other nations.
There is not much artistry among the Urmomistani people, however they do have a national style of music.
It is not known exactly what Umomistani music consists of, but is known to consist mostly of primitive percussion instruments.
Language:
The Urmomese language is similar to other turkic languages (Kazakh, tajik, Uzbek, etc.), but is written with an alphabet based on Korean hangul, adapted to fit the language's needs.
